First Presbyterian Preschool offers options for social interaction and enrichment beyond the school day.
Children may bring a lunch from home and attend Lunch Bunch Tuesdays through Fridays from 12 noon to 1:00 p.m. Registration is by semester and requires a small additional fee. First Presbyterian Preschool is a nut-free environment.
School of Fine Arts
Through First Presbyterian Church’s School of Fine Arts, we offer after school enrichment programs in many disciplines. All programs are offered from 1:10 – 2:10 p.m. To register, please complete the registration form and email to Katie Patterson. Please note that registration requires children be enrolled in Lunch Bunch on the day of their after school activity.

ABC’s, stories, and games for 3’s: In this class, students will participate in early literacy games and activities. Students will actively be engaged in the learning process as they are thinking and doing! They will be practicing and developing letter knowledge along with rhyming and sequencing. The class will also participate in letter recognition games, as well as reading stories and journaling about the story. The children will make a folder to collect all their work they have done throughout the class. Taught by Ms. Kristen
Build-a-Brain Through Music: Light up neural pathways and develop analytic, cognitive, language, and reasoning skills through music training with group song and play, musical notation, ear training, simple rhythms, and spontaneous personal song creation. (Endorphins, improved sleep and immune functions provided at no extra charge.) This class is taught by Mrs. Allegra Whitney
Explorations in 3-Dimensional Art: This art class explores the mediums of clay, Paper Mache, wood, and more. This is a hands-on class which will encourage students to work on long-term, 3D projects. This class is taught by Mrs. Julie Grant-Brown.
Fun with Math and Science—Pre-K and Kindergarten: In this class, students learn basic scientific and math facts in a fun, creative, learning environment with teacher, Ms. Kristen. The children will develop their measuring, predicting, observing, and classifying skills while participating in various learning activities and simple experiments. Baking soda, shaving cream, and food coloring are a few of the things the students will experiment with. The children will get dirty in this class!
Sports: The Sports class empowers children, ages 3 to 6 as they learn the rules and fundamentals of various sports. Confidence soars as our children develop skills such as passing, catching, hitting, kicking, jumping, throwing, etc. while learning to play baseball, football, soccer, basketball, golf, tennis, and more! The curriculum for each sport includes exercise and fitness training, basic rules and definitions.
